Hi everyone, i've just recently started the trial account, and will be thinking seriously about a subscription. I think i played this game ages ago for a few days, i don't remember much about it. How is the RP aspect of the game, from what i've seen it seems to be a very big part of the game. Also, i'm looking for a group of people to hang out with in game on a regular basis, i don't want gear or anything like that, just people to talk to, maybe start a character with me and run around, to learn the game.

A warm welcome to Atys then.
I´m sure pople from Arispotle or Cho Server will help you find good RP on there.
As for me I´m on the german server Leanon, but nevertheless I hope you´ll have much Fun in Ryzom.

Welcome to Atys, Maltross
I would say RP is what gives one reason to stay a long time, another reason would be finding some good friends that you can share the journey with
It should be noted that RP isn't really "BIG" in game. Why? Well, not everyone enjoy it or practise it as much as others might do. But you will find most responding in character if you approach them that way.

thanks guys, i really like the community so far, except it seems there's a shortage of people who want to group and do anything.

I'd guess that most of the people who want to group are forming teams with their friends and guildmates, then going to higher-level regions to accommodate a wider range of skill levels. The people in capital cities tend to be either crafting, doing some errand, or afk.
The above applies to the mainland. Noticing you're still on the free trial, hence Silan, I don't have much of an answer.
