I have got a E6600 processor, P5B motherboard, 2 gig RAM, and a 8800GTX with latest drivers

But first of all, cant run opengl in fullscreen, game will crash, and eventually my system, works in Direct3D, but getting crashes randomly, could take 5 mins, 30 mins, hour, whatever, just get a quick flash on blue screen, cant see what it says, and a insta reboot,

cause of it, and help would be nice....

thanks

for blue screen... control panel/system/advanced tab/"Startup and Recovery" settings/"System failure" - Automatically restart
if you clear that checkbox, blue screen will stay bit longer.

it's probably some driver crash. try newer/older display drivers maybe ? (do uninstall for your current drivers, restart, ignore windows driver wizard, run driver setup you downloaded)

edit: try websearch for "E6600 nvidia driver crash". seems to be driver crash indeed.

This is the only game at which this occurs though, im playing oblivion, fear, command and conquer, counterstrike, warcraft and all of em run without any problems, whatsoever, ryzom is the first game which i have troubles with.

these may or may not fix the issue:
disable second cpu, turn off multithreaded optimizing for display drivers, turn FSAA to 2x or disable it completly, wait for nvidia to fix this, upgrade to vista ultimate-edition x64 with driver nvidia 100.65 drivers (supposed to work, dont know).

why ryzom crashes ? probably uses (it's there, why not use it ;-) some function in display driver thats not exactly compatible with dual-core cpu's yet, so it crashes. your other games are not using it (game is too old, they dont need it or got inside information from nvidia to avoid it), so they work fine.

I'd say counterstrike and warcraft are a lot older :P
