Today we (I and some others, at least) have experienced a little patch with the new system.

Since there is no note, nor changelot, nor announcement, it could be a god idea that someone on GF come to tell us what that patch is about (as little it could be).

was wondering the same..

So far i figure just a "test" of the new system at random (seems not all have had it)

But having to guess isnt the best situation ;P

It patched a few R2 files IIRC, so maybe they were just updating the textures or something, or adding some new items? *shrug* Speculation is fun ...

Well thank god it isn't fast!

Strange thing i went on Klient to ask why it seemed to take very long and the where like: huh!? patch!?

The day of the reboot I had to patch in something. I wish that if they will patch something in, anything they tell us exactly what. I had to patch like 11mb of /something/ and didn't know why or what it was.

The advantage of a background patcher is that you don't have to write anything about what is patched, until they activate it in the game.

i dont think we should fear that they can just patch things in while we playing. by the looks of it, it's just nel_launcher second coming to handle mainland/r2 zone files downloads while happy newb is playing silan . once when they get the new installer off the ground that is. currently it's useless.

btw, didnt get any patch on my second (or third actually) computer. only thing i can think of is that patcher got confused with summertime switch
