I don't pay to play by myself :/

I've left the starter island (never found anyone to group with) after spending many hours leveling by myself.
To end up on mainland, and still can't find anyone to hunt with.

I can find crafters to sell me gear, that's about it.

Isn't there a lfg tool? Or dungeons? Suggested location to hunt and find other people to hunt with?

Don't tell me I have to do the next 220 levels by myself?

The best way to find a group is to join a guild IMO.

What race are you?

Next time you see a PC, go up and ask them to group with you. Or you could always use the region chats... ask if anyone wants to come group with you.

I like to go solo, but I do need to level up my magic and heal is the easiest way to do it.

But I'm also a Tryker.

Aye guilds are the way to go. Guilds are also the reason region chat is kinda quiet these days.

I know in my case I don't group all that often becuase I'm usually doing missions to work on increasing my Kami faction. And since they haven't fixed the bug where you get mission credit for kills in groups, I have to play solo to get anything done.

I get credit for mission kills in a group every time if I'm group lead and, oddly, about half the time if I'm not lead. My friends and I just switch lead around every so often if needed to finish our missions before heading back to civilization. Of course, we aren't in a big hurry... We'll fight some, prospect some, chat some, explore a lot. Which makes us "not fun" for many others to group with as most people seem interested in only leveling or doing missions as fast as possible or only harvesting, etc.

My doing missions has little to do with leveling. I'm a huge story person. I know that in the not so distant future there is going to story elements that will only be accessable if you have really good factions with certian groups. Being a Zorai I really want the Kami to know who I am, and that I am on their side. If there were group missions that gave out fame I would love to do them. But right now the only way to get fame is doing single player missions.

Ive had problems grouping in all but tryker land. Fyros can sometimes, but often not.

I've had no problems finding groups since I came to the mainland (fyros).

My comment wasn't meant as a criticism, more a commentary on how many things there are to do. Finding people isn't that hard, finding people who want to do what you want, when you want is. Most people have at least two time consuming goals, some a lot more than two.
