Dapper - Need more dapper sink?

Keep hearing got too much isk need more isk sinks, which I have to say from my perspective seems strange as a hunter.
Been back in the game 2 weeks and already considering leaving again, not because of the community, op's, pvp, mobs or even cats.
This is my reasoning (which I am still looking at in-game)
High level hunting really is only effective in teams and in teams you share the loot (would not have that any other way). But while you are hunting your equipment is wearing out.
Mobs normally just drop basic or fine mats which I sell to NPC's as they would only usually be used for grinding.
Cost of hunting over last week:
Q250 Med armor 33% wear
Q230 jewels 50% wear
Q200 2H Sword 45% wear
Increase in ISK in pocket after the cost of the tp tickets is 1.2 million.
Now it does not take much to workout high level hunting will be grinding to a halt shortly. And I've no interest in getting back into foraging and crafting atm.
Plus not the sort of person to accept something for nothing.
So does the game really need more ISK sinks, possibly for high level crafters but I find it hard to believe that in the case of a high level hunter.
Note: this is not a whine even if it may seem so to some people. It's just a look at the viability of just high level hunting without the high level crafting support.

I dont really see the problem to be honest...
Within our guild, gear is provided for free (delivery times may vary depending on which crafter you need
), and no one i think would ever think anything about accepting it. Of course if you need the really good q250 stuff, helping on getting the required mats (= help on boss hunts, or stand guard on a SN) would be asked for.

I feel your pain. As a hunter I find myself having to dig in order to support my hunting. As much as I'm not a dig fan I find a few days every few months bearable. I don't see the need for dapper sinks. It would force ppl to dig often who have no love for it.-Kil

Sell on to players with a decent markup and make 3X more dapper.

On top of that, it's simply not true.

Kyerna is the best HA crafter on atys
And 250 in a fair veew crafts
Dappers are worthless i agree with that, ive got alot and their not alot of use, but oh well
I would HATE to have my gear wear out faster, its all very well to have choice gear go, but when it takes months to get the mats need for the best gear to have it last half the time would suck. Solution to dappers, 100k per TP, lets face its not gunna break the bank, and take some 0s off dappers, i just looked on yaffle alone i have 183 million, and more on my other toons, make 183, 18.3. Save me having to work out how many dappers ive got anway

Tried that without the mark up and most did sell, sell for 3x that cost for basic and fine who knows. If it was me I would not buy them at 3 times i'd get them myself.
Which ever way you look at it the game is more heavily biased towards foraging and crafting in terms of income.

I should have clarified; I meant the basic and fine mob materials being worthless or almost solely usefull for grinding.
I do agree however that a non-crafter or non-forager lacks venues to earn enough dappers on their own comparable to those who do. But then again, I've always been more in favor of a symbiosis system between hunter/forager and crafter where the crafter who is getting supplied offers services for free or at reduced price to his supliers. What is not needed by that crafter is pure profit for the hunter/forager as there's still a market for any material.
Edit: And Yaffle, that's not true at all. I embaras myself enough to know I'm not.
