Client crashes mid-patch.

I've been trying to update Ryzom to the latest patch, (March 15), and my client window will suddenly drop to desktop with no warning. It almost always happens in the same general area: between 1.9 and 2.5MB into the first patch file, (exedll__00610.Patch). When I relog, it immediately gives me the crash display, then logs on as normal after I pick an option.
Thus far, I have tried the following, (thanks mokoi and androbia for the suggestions in Klients):
1. Restarting the computer
2. Rebooting the router
3. File Integrity Check through the client window
4. Disk Check of the hard drive for errors.
5. Altering the client_default.cfg file to insert the new server address lines.
6. Going back to the Linksys router setup and adding in the Port Forwarding UDP and TCP addresses, (worked fine before with just the Port Triggering fix).
7. Uninstalling Ryzom and reinstalling from the original .zip file. (was going to get new version, but download size still seems to be 1.8GB and seems to be identical to what I already have according to my download manager). Server fix from step 5 was applied immediately after this.
8. Turning off Anti-virus
9. Turning off my Firewall
10. Booting up in Safe-mode and trying to patch.
So far, none of this has altered the original problem in the slightest. I'm still able to log on, and run other features from the client menu, but as soon as I start trying to play/patch, the game immediately crashes at the same file in the patch.
{Edit} Well, as an update I now have exedll__00610.Patch downloaded, and I assume installed, as well as two or three files after it. I dunno if it helped or not, but while the file was patching, I opened up Firefox and started randomly clicking bookmarks and loading pages. The first time that seemed to get the file farther along than before, and on the second try it finished it. I have no idea if this was actually helpful or not, or if it was just dumb luck, however.
On an unpleasant note, I'm now stuck on file terre_zones_00610.Patch
Is it possible my connection is timing out or there's some restriction coming into play? As I said, all ports are forwarded and triggered on the router, is it possible one or more ports has changed? My router is Linksys, so if something is now different, I might be running into the same problems as we had before the fixes listed in the stickied threads above.
