I would think that all homins would want to celebrate their survival of the Great Swarming and their arrival in these newfound lands from the following Exodus.
/OOC:
If I remember it correctly that's what the Trykers celebrate at Thanksgiving Day; Jena returning the Light to her people when they resurface after the Great Swarming. It seems entirely possible that other cultures have their own customs tailored to their own interpretations and influences on the Exodus.

One can find many other events in the lore for each religion and each race to celebrate. Even Trytonists could celebrate Elias Tryton making the rainbows.
/OOC: You' d wonder how come that ain't the case really. There's indeed those important events in Atys' history, but little depth to the cultures and religions itself, even though the game would lend itself greatly to it. Little notions of obscure rituals ingame would have gone a long way already. Official events could then make them feel truely present, and we'd have living cultures too and not just the ecosystems.
There's at least some persistant representation of Karavanism (yes, I'm deliberatly not using Jenaïsm as it seems a pretty much overlooked and seperate facet ingame of the relations between the Karavan and Jena) and Kamism ingame, most notably the Mabreka spin on it and sadly nothing on the Fung-Tun take.
Given the major role these two religions play for now you'd expect to have a lot more information.
Ingame you can hardly find anything as of yet on the nations and their traditions that makes it feel a persistant culture, except for the pop quiz when you apply for citizenship. (But even then you have to look it up on the webpage if you didn't read enough of the lore) The only exceptions so far have been the odd event where a prominent figure pops out, weddings and the few funerals.
Wildcard Tryton, well I guess that's a case on it's own. Despite his undisputable presence in history, Tryker mythology and Karavan lore, very little is actually known. The events concerning him lead to believe that he would evolve over time, mostly hidden from the public, waiting for a time to strike and make his presence known to all. Untill then he seems destined to be the most obscure element of the lore and quickly forgotten, as most if not all players who knew that little more about him have by now left Atys or just given up due to various reasons; lack of real information, lack of meaning, lack of presence and catering to. Which makes me wonder if and how GF will 'ressurect' him if he does indeed need to be the catalyst of the story as he has before.
All in all I hope GF could adress some of these issues when things seem to be running more smoothly for them on the developping front, as I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in wanting that little bit more meaning, flavor and 'culture' ingame.
'Please mister, can we have some more?'
