Error Code 1 - no connection to the login server
- check firewall settings and ensure the game ports are allowed through
- can also happen when there are network problems along the path, so check local network and try doing a ping plot or tracert to 213.208.119.98

Villehei try the first link yaffle posted (http://forums.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28706). That is the fix to the most likely reason your getting 'error code 1'. If that doesn't fix it press on the "here" in "if not download klients here" in Yaffles post and it will link you to downloading klients.
