Loria Stronghold

A long, long time ago, after TS came back to their fathers lands Faa had been called to a secret meeting in Windermeer. Despite feeling reluctant and suspicious, she still went with only two of her officers. They were led to a distant house and when they entered, still blinded by the sun outside, they noticed that most of the blue globes that usually light tryker houses were extinguished.
Near the window a small shade was waiting, their contact.
- Welcome, Faa, said the shade at the window without turning his head. I am happy you and your guild have come back to Trykoth. I am happy you have grown and learned so much about Atys. Learning as much as we can about the other lands keeps our spirits awake, that's fundamental for our tolerant civilisation.
- Still...?
- It doesn't matter who you meet in this room, Faa, smiled the voice. There are so many passions out there, the cloaked arm moved to show the surface. There is still so much greed and pride upon all of the lands... I have to try and balance all of these, and I hope you are one who understands...
The TS officers fidgeted nervously...but Faa had her own ideas and made a step forward.
- Why have you called us here?
- Have you ever read our book of goals, little tryker?
- I have, my lord, since long ago, when we all attained the tryker citizenship.
- Then you may know our generations duty is to change the ancient enmity with the blue ones, do you...?
- "Build alliances with the Zoraïs..." murmured Faa looking a bit confused.
- Indeed. I would have loved to have you people with me, mainly now when so many clouds are gathering, mainly now when we prepare a treaty that might jeopardise my own life or my family's.
- We're here to serve the Federation... started Faa; her hand reflexively searching for the dagger at her hip..
- But I cannot keep you here, said the voice gloomily. In as much as I wish, I cannot, my dear friends. You have taken the kami religion.
- Same as the Corsairs, your tribe, same as your wife's family...
- Shh shh, laughed the voice... maybe my tribe... maybe all tryker's true tribe is the Federation...
- I send you away, TS, I send you to develop a diplomatic mission in the Jungle.
The three TSers froze on spot... they have just came back from Pyr Academy, each of them had plans in their own lands.
- Fulfil our goal, Faa, strengthen our Zoraï alliances! The voice was not anymore of a small shadow in the window, but of a general who knew how to move his troops.
Silence hung in the air as his speech finished
- Are you exiling us then...hesitated one of the officers.
- No, answered the cloaked voice all of a sudden tired, on the contrary, I am sending some of the best of my people to find us new forces, new support, to be able to continue our life as it is. Because time will come when you will come back, and not alone.
Burdened and sad the three trykers left; a few months later the tryker diplomatic mission in Zoraï has been opened. Plentiful were the parties where gloomy mystics from the North and forceful warriors from the desert have met to taste the merry life the small people can build wherever they go, not few the kitin hunts made to tighten the connections between the TS and their friends.
Zoraï sages closed their eyes upon some of their fellows, who, losing homes from Matis increasing attacks, took refuge among the trykers.
Years have passed. News about Still Wyler's assassination came to the Zoraï embassy darkening their souls, then more news about the Matis subdued tryker guilds trying to take over in their old sunny lands.
In a cold winter morning the embassy's windows were blocked and the doors were locked, a caravan of mektoubs waiting outside. The TS were to come back to their lands together with their exiled zorai and fryos friends. Loria - once again under Matis government - had to be freed.
[OOC: Friday 22 gmt TS will be attacking Loria stronghold, currently held by AA, KA affiliated guild. All friends and opponents welcome.]
