Invasions vs Skill Improvements

Hello guys.
I've been doing some thinking in the back, and reading up on future plans Gameforge is making regarding short-middle range goals for the game.
Indeed, some changes and additions are needed, but what do we consider a top priority? The new company is in a transition at the moment, and getting a feel on what we want. And I am afraid that one thing which was once a highlight of Ryzom that is now gone has been left in the shadows -- for one reason or the next.
I am talking about Invasions, via RAID, and not the pseudo attempt during Halloween. An actual staged hostile strategic take over by the Kitin, or some other mob (such as Gibbai in Zora or Marauders in Pyr).
Regardless of rumors that flew about, I would like to know the community's feel on importance. What would you like to see (re)implemented first? Invasions? Or 1-handed skill tree reworked?
