CSR stylin

I'm surprised in some ways that the community seems vexxed at the loss of Jolt.

A move towards community run tech support and guiding sounds more of an open initiative. Ryzom could be moving towards a more open source development and maintenance schedule..... minimizing maintenance costs should leave more income to go towards development (or to get back into the black at the moment, who knows).

In any case, with the abundance of strong community players I can't see how the support would actually suffer.

Imho the valid complaints are from those that miss specific CSRs and their expertise...

The CSRs already are player volunteers under Jolt.

And how many of you guys currently leaving the game as players, were CSR's, out of curiosity?

I think they all signed a NDA that forbids them to tell us.

I suppose we can assume, most of them. And apparantly, may well not be true. But Jolt have released them of their NDA

That's a really **** assumption to make. I'm not a CSR.

(Souls has said in another thread that the CSRs were released from their NDAs, so sounds like they can say now)

Why is it ****?, I am merely curious. It was an assumption, that was entirely reasonable in the circumstances. If I am wrong, so be it. But was hardly a mad guess now was it. And even if they can say, how many would admit to it?

Whatever their reason for leaving they were good players and good members of the community and we can do better then turning on them and mud slinging about why they are so upset about this that they are leaving.
