Why should crafters have to carry around 50 extra bulk? And another bug.

I was rather frustrated to learn - confirmed by a GM who apparently didn't send my ticket up to the devs - that crafters are stuck with an extra 50 bulk versus everyone else since our five craft tools are untransferable. Thus, you can't store them on your pack animal (which makes the most sense, since how often do you craft out in the field). So...compared to everyone else you're carrying around each tool at 10 bulk, and you're out of luck in your pack if you happen to multitask - add tools along with armor and say, oh, an autolauncher ammo set, and either haul the pack animal along or forget about picking anything up.
I'm also frustrated this isn't documented anywhere, except for stuff the GMs can apparently read.
Finally, the latest patch seems to have put in a nice new bug for crafting. Should you use base items of different levels above a craft ql target, you will end up 1 below that target - along with the success message! Arrrgh.

It will get sorted as long as they know about it.
Keep reporting anything you see meanwhile.
I got my packer yesterday and I'm a bit nervous about using it considering how much it cost me. I just know one day I am going to hit 'free' by mistake. <giggles> Either that or some horrible gingo is going to gobble him up.

yeah I have to carry the armour tool (which I'll probably scrap for space as I dont use, the weapon tool and picks (ones about to run out so I got the second for when I do)
That all adds up to over 10% of my total bulk :S

I suspect once I start doing prime runs I will end up eating the 6K or so it will cost me for a new set and destroy my current tool set if the current bugged system holds. Which would be unfortunate...

Did you ever try moving harvested mats to your stabled packer while out in the field?

Heh, hadn't realize that exploit existed, and will plan to take full advantage of my strange ability to magically teleport stuff from the field to my mount as long as I can do so.
Of course, the other problem now is that the stack 'fix' meant that you can't combine stacks any more, so its very easy to run into situations where your mount fills up available slots, but that's yet another bug...

Trade seperated stacks back and forth with someone. Or just put them in trade window and take them back.
If nobody is availabe, get an easy craft quests, do the first step and use the item delivery screen then.
Stacks can be splited using a packer or storage, but that should be common knowledge.
There is a work around for every problem =P

Ya, I'd just like less need for workarounds in general...
