Ryzom Ring

Is Ryzom Ring automatically downloaded into a paid Ryzom account, or must I click the Ryzom Ring download link myself?

Can anyone create Ryzom Ring scenarios or is this allowed for advanced players (high fame or high level) only?

Ryzom Ring devices in Matis country (Arispotle) are always empty, even when my melee=100 char Amphiaraus checks them. Is this because the Ryzom Ring creators are not logged in, or has no one created Ryzom Ring scenarios there yet?

Thanks,
Amphiaraus

It should automaticaly download, I didn't have to do anything special to download it at least.

Anyone should be able to create ring scenarios. You should have the option at the character selection window to go into it instead of the gameworld.

The problem is that the creator has to be loged in and running the scenario for people to be able to play them. Adding the hosting options they were planing so that they don't need to do that would be a great improvement for the ring.

I have printed out the Ryzom Ring instructions document and am hoping to create Ryzom Ring scenarios (in Arispotle) in the near future.

I sure hope the Ryzom Ring terminals being empty all the time is not due to:

a) apathy -- no one is bothering to make scenarios.

b) selfishness -- people don't want to be running a Ryzom Ring scenario (and getting no XPs while running it) when they could be out grinding XPs.

I know that if you enter a Ryzom Ring scenario you also get zero XPs, same as the person running it.

I am so tired of grinding I wouldn't mind spending time with the Ryzom Ring.

Thanks,
Amphiaraus

I think most people that are doing them are doing it like Mok and schedule the times they will be up. The schedule part of the ring forums here might be worth keeping an eye on.

it's the hosting issue thats the killer. i have launched scenarios before and sat there for literally an hour and no one logged in.

that is way beyond pointless, so i think you wont see much of an upturn until there is a hosting mechanism. there needs to be another push when this happens for ppl to check the terminals, or better yet a ring channel, or at least listing of currently active because i think its reached the point where 90% of ppl dont ever bother to check.

I am thinking any Ryzom Ring scenarios I make would be for teh n00bz only, level 40-50, it's likely that most scenarios are for the elite at present.

Thanks,

I've no idea if they are or not but a good range of scenarios for all skill levels is a good idea :)
