You may want to check out the various manuals here
http://www.ryzom.com/documentation I am sure that you will find something there that will help you in getting started on your journey.

Also if you need any help in game ask questions on the universe channel, it is what it's meant for and there are alot of players who would be happy to help.

Yup. Welcome Hyper. As said, look in the manuals or ask people in the universe channel. Most things I've learned yet (and I haven't been playing for long) has been passed on from player to player. Good luck out there
