You can group with anyone, of any level. however xp wise, the gains of having someone too high level will mean you wont be able to hit the mob, thus you wont get any xp.. and theres a good chance you'll die more, but as for the original question, you can group with anyone at all.

but i wouldnt group with matis...cos they're matis..

Everyone hates matis..or i do, and i'm fyros.. Dont tell Dam i said this or he might not make me another pike tho.
