Call to Arms: Tunnels of Almati
Homins,
The recent subsidence of the terrain in the center of the Almati Woods has uncovered an entrance to an underground Kitin lair, which has been given the name the Tunnels of Almati. The Kitin now have a route up to the surface within range of the Matisian homelands. House Etchmarc has been working with the Rangers in setting up their outpost and organizing operations with the Ranger coordinator Malo Canda. The Rangers simply do not have the capability to deal with this situation on their own. We seek the aid of courageous and honorable homins to aid us in our endeavors, and venture into the Kitins Lair to seek out a solution to this catastrophe.
Malo Canda insists on blaming the respected former Master Botanist of the Matis royal court, Almati, for this calamity. Further she asserts that Almati has given the Kitin a route to the surface, while also playing upon old rumors alchemy, spread by jealous contemporaries of Almati.
We would like to remind our fellow homins that all rumors of alchemy and underground laboratories are simply that, rumors. The Master of the Palace was instructed to investigate Almati and the Wood, though his investigation was cut short by the Great Swarm. Before any other homins try to place any sort of blame for this event on Almatis shoulders, remember that there is no evidence to support these claims. Unless there is something to be found within the depths of Atys, through these Tunnels of Almati, we believe that there is no evidence to support their slanderous claims.
Regardless, our call for aid remains. Each government must be informed. The time has long past that any one nation can attempt to deal with a Kitin threat. We, as Homins, can not allow ourselves to pass on peaceably into the darkness that waits so patiently for us. Were it not for the Trytons rainbows, our people would have easily fallen during the Great Swarming. Let us not disregard this second chance given to us. For Matia, for Zoria, for Fairhaven, for Pyr, by Homin kind; we will end this!
