Finding the springs is not difficult – even for you! Ask any ringtechnician and they will give you directions. And then... then you just follow the sweet smell that rise to meet you. The sweet smell of firewine. And the rumors speak truly. You will find an entire lake of it waiting for you. At first I didnt really know what to think of the homins actually swimming there, but trying the experience myself I found joints loosening up and my blood rolling as light as in my youth.
Not light enough for me to actually engage in that game of Yuboball they seem to fancy there. Imagine the manager – a Zoraï named Zandryok – asking me to participate. Me! Running around chasing some stupid little fussball of a yubo. Just the thought of running was enough to make me exhausted, thus I rested in the shadow while the younger guests at the resort where enjoying themselves. And it was actually quite a laugh to watch these homins making fools of themselves by equally trying to call the yubo to them, then trying to scare it away. Apparently the goal of the game is to send the yubo running through a set of poles at each end of an arena made for the purpose. At least they seemed to enjoy themselves greatly.
Once I found myself relieved of the stressfull activity of watching them play, I turned my attention to the restaurant. And really, their menu is the main attraction of the resort. Having to choose between Fried Izam and Mehktoub ribs smothered in firewine proved too much for me – and I choose to have both meals served. Observant serving staff saw to it that I needed nothing, and tender dancers passed by my table regularly... I tell you they where as delicious as the meals I had just enjoyed. Whether they offer additional personal services I didnt discover at the time. Apparently the manager had something on his heart. It was the grand opening after all.
So I left my dinner table, barely, and went for the entertainment venue. A group of Atys finest had gathered there. Ah, such a plessure to be amongst homins who know how to tressure that which is sophisticated and delicate. I believe I sat there for a while, listening to the story of the manager. Apparently the food and wine made me daze of shortly, but the homins around me cheared – and not wanting to look like one who doesnt appreciate the fine arts I nodded in acceptance as well.
Most of the younger homins then drifted back to the lake and the yuboball arena. I myself had the plessure to enjoy a late night drink of wine at the restaurant with a most promising young matis. We discussed his trade and business first, then the business we might make together in the future. Promising I tell you. Very, very promising and potentially profitable. Just as I had hoped this place is really gonna be the place for the upper end of hominity to meet and talk in private, yet luxurious surroundings.
