I have no disconnects and not much lag. Check with your ISP. Also, is your computer up to spec? An older system might have some problems as well.
Finally, make sure you have no viruses on your computer, as they can affect gameplay too. Finally, when is the last time you defragged your hard drive? This can also affect gameplay.

Sounds like the old firewall issue that many people I know have had. Do a search in the Questions forum if you have a firewall (especially LynkSys) and you should find the answer.
