Crafting trademarks - where do they disappear?

As a noob in Silan on Cho I came across some great player made medium armor. q45 Ranger armor, with stam, sap, hp, & focus bonus on every piece. Every piece was made by a different person - no doubt a team in which every player just concentrated on making a single piece of armor and then they traded it with each other to outfit themselves. The extras they sold at a reasonable price (unlike Arispotle)!

When I bought it there was a trademark on it - "crafted by XYZ" or whatever. However, now that I have it the trademark is gone. I didn't write them down either. I wanted to A) thank the makers and B) look them up whenever I get to the mainland to buy even better armor. Am I looking in the wrong place (info) for the trademark?

Same issue with q30 amps that made my magic actually kill something instead just making it mad.

Anyway, I'm no longer catch-of-the-day for every mob that comes along. Yeah, I'm talking to you puny ginkos; bring it if you dare.

The Ranger outfit is a quest reward, not made by players. You get it when doing the last Chaing(?) quest.

So, the names were the sellers, not the makers then? I was trying to figure out how these were crafted by new players and it seemed there weren't enough crafting points to it. So quest reward explains that.

Are there crafting trademarks in Ryzom?

On player crafted items, the name of the crafter is shown on the info window.

Take a look at this thread: http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27824

You can see Nillian's name as the crafter in the screenshot. ;)

rumor has it that Cho player deliberately log into Arispotle and put high prices on items to show how bad Arispotle is.
i have personally witnessed similar behaviour from Cho players who was logged on to Arispotle and told everyone in universe channel how bad Arispotel is.
granted, it was long time ago, but it lasted for several days.

let the shard war begin !

there is some problems with locally caching item info and then updating it from server. it's not common, but does happen.

do missions for magic npc. there is q30 (and q40 or q45 dont remember) amp reward that is far superiour that player can ever craft on silan.
