did anyone inform us that the server maybe going down?

im trying to give this game a chance - so i thought i would give it one more go today before my 28 days are up and i will have to pay per month-

but i go online and i get told the server is down again...

come on guys i want to play this game - but i dont think your helping..

it was taken down for a quick reboot about an hour ago....

And yes there was an ingame msg about it.

Indeed the server will be going down at no notice for "a few minutes", that was over an hour ago.

Server is up now but closed.

Sunday - methinks daytime week would be better for alterations.

Would be nice if they took the 2 minutes it would take to post a message here on the forums. And i wish they would leave the weekends alone when it comes to patching.

Please just patch during the week. I understand they are working 24/7 on the game and it's nice to see, but just leave us the weekends to play - unless it's a major criticial patch - but then we have no idea what this patch is for (see above re: telling us).

Not whining, but a little communication goes along, long way in MMORPG's.

Checking the forums and playing Dawn of War while waiting... I swear some people cheat on that game

If this was a planned server shut down i think sunday is a bad day - surely it would have been better to take down the server on a weekday ????

I dont think they are patching, but may have been an in game problem that needed correcting

If the server was being patched then all servers would be down for patching, surely.
It could be hardware in which case these things can happen unexpectedly. Hardware or software failure doesn't exactly give you a specified time of mucking up, it just does.

I get a bad feeling that certain mob difficulty will be increased when we get in again
