I think this is more because the winter textures in Witherings are really *ugly* (IMO, at least).
Besides, who has every heared of a winter (and SNOW!) in a Jungle? It should be more realistic with summer = hot season (brown plants, only very little rain), etc and winter = rainy season (very green plants, very frequent rain).

Not only is the winter ugly, but it virtually kills my eyes too and somehow Zoraï winters are more devastating that Matis ones. And yes Silv, given the conditions of winter in Witherings it really makes you appreciate all other seasons. But seriously, does it have to be that ugly? Enough's enough and point taken.. sheesh.
Winter is ugly there, it kills my eyes and what on earth is the deal with rain? Makes you appreciate snowflakes too.. if you ever see them in-game, that is.
But so far, I'd appreciate even winter as I can't even get in-game at the moment ;P
Its Spring ?

Ah its spring ? Yes the change of seasons is done very well.
I have a big concern tho. As you pointed out, in Fyros land there is no real indication of the changing seasons. In fact it wasnt until i saw this post that i realise the season has changed. Not even any day/season information on the log-in screen any more. This is something that affects harvesting. It is known that some mats/sources are seasonal, so this makes harvesting for seasonal sources/mats in Fyros land extremely difficult. Even trying to work out the time of day so that timed sources can be extracted from is an arduous task when all you have to go on is the particular shade of colour of the sky. I really hope that some sort of clock or time system is going to be introduced in the very near future, as has been requested by several people countless times in the past, in order to make things far less frustrating for harvesters. At the moment it is seemingly a mixture of trial, error and pure luck.

Great pictures silverio...my first views of Ayts were those of spring in the jungle and I remember being awestruck with the details too. Breathtaking stuff, especially for a computer game. But if you want to see a beautiful winter, you'll need to visit Matia in the winter. It's like looking at a Christmas postcard.

Yes, Mantis has a nice winter. The area is fitting for snow, too.
BUt Fyros and Zora? A desert and a Jungle?
@ Eshin: Having exactly the same feeling aboutrain in winter. Every time it did that I was thinking "If this was the real world this rain would have melted the snow in 10 Minutes."
