Anyone feel item decay is too fast?

I do think it's a bit fast. Examples:
a q70 magician staff: 26 hours (144 max hp. It had quite good stats (74-77% on all) so it must have been made with excellent (or perhaps choice) mats).

A set of q70 light armor: 4 days

Just got a new q80 staff, lost 2hp from healing and nuking for the killing of 1 nettled kipee giving 3000xp. I heard rumors about high level mages in beta who had to bring two staffs on a hunt just because of decay.

Anyone else having trouble with the decay?

I havnt had any troubles, in ob1 it was waaay to fast, and I was going through a set of 300hp hvy armour in a day (always short of cash then ) but they changed, it and I havnt had any probs so far.

My first pike just coming to the end of its life since day two of open.

dekay rate changed in same time with prime roots change i think that it is here to consume fast all super items that was in game but it is based on use as it look like, problem with mages is that it is used with every spell cast so if you cast ton of spells that is notmal for mages it is quite a lot usage fast ..

In any case you can get 5 to 10 levels with it and that is enough to buy some new equipment

my problem as jewelery crafter is that jewels never decay so i dont have to sell backips until i get to some skill more ..
