hello again.

I've been playing this game from the beginning. point is, I've played this massively multiplayer game solo most of the time during the lack of players.
I've played daoc and the smallest server was populated by 800people in the first week. i am playing everquest2 beta and you see every 30seconds other fellow gamer.
I am no sales manager but I consider the game wont last for 8 years. at least i won't play that much all alone.

So, considering the strenghts of the mobs and their numbers, reduce them or combine french and uk server. It simply cannot be a massively multiplayer game consists of 50 people (of course for each race). And don't tell me I've to wait til all players got the game. By then all others will be gone to the upcoming mmorpgs or due to the frustration of the lack of features and alpha-like bugs still in there.

50 people per server? Where'd you get that from?

We have 50 members in Rulers of Atys, and there are many in Matis that are not members (yet).

The game has only been out for a couple of weeks - give it time.

At peak times on AC2 some servers have 15 people on...

i can only speak of trykerland. and there aren't more than 50 players. consider each player got a second char and plays another races as well. that's why you see other faces sometimes. Nevrax knows why they don't publish the server population. And with AC2, I would have got it, but I have no credit card so payment was the problem there.

Even 50 players won't be the problem. But the problem I see is from those 50 players one half is harvesting all the time, the other half is spread among 30 squaremiles or however big trykerland is.

Sure I'll wait another couple of months. I got me level 200 by then so I can play with 10 new players decided to play tryker and start all over again beating up cloppers with my unskilled melee tree? no thanks.

At a guess then it seems most of us picked Matis, most nights there are 50 plus players on.

I see other players constantly, if the GMs stop cheating and creating paratrooper kitins we might actually get the group of 30 to tryker some time and you can see what I mean.

Only 50 per race?

Allegiance of Power has 25 members alone, and all matis, and there are several Matis guilds with more people than us. If you added up the top 5 Matis guilds alone you would hit 150-200 people mark.

I have seen over 100 people on the /who command in the Yrk regions on peak hours. and there are usually another 50 in the fleeting gardens and ajoining regions.

Our guild has 45 members now and we have 30 of those online at peak times. And we are all Tryker. Admittedly there are not as many Trykers as Matis, but we still have a lot fun together.

At peak times i counted 80 people in Trykerland. (you have to consider that you have to check 3-4 areas)

I am fine with those numbers. Once we manage to travel to other areas it will be much more social.
