Farewell Nevrax

So, it´s done now.
A new Owner is set in Place and the old one moves away beaten.
It´s always sad to see a dream vanish and to see an Idea fail.
I wish for Gameforge to keep these dreams and ideas and the Spirit of David Corhals initial thoughts alive.
But I´m here to say goodbye to those who´ll have to take their heats now and those who did so allready, including Xavier and his bunch of "free-spirits", whose dream vanished too.
I´d like to say farewell to those who made the last 2 years possible to us and gave us a unique gameing experience through their hard work.
I bow to your bravery and your willingness to take great risks in keeping your dreams alive, even if this did not always work out the way you´d planned. Every way has its obstacles, some you took full front and some you steped lightly over.
Some of you may now regrett decissions made in the past. Some of you may now say: "If I had only..."
Yes, if you had only...
If you had...
If you had not fought so hard for this game. If you had not invested so much money, blood, sweat and tears into this Game, had you not kept hopes alibe, had you not worked tirelessly for this game.
Then we wouldn´t even be here now!
Ryzom would have died in its Infantsbed and no potentialy beneficail new Owner would buy it.
It was your tireless work, dear Nevrax Employess, that kept this game alive and that kept it from being trampled by the Titans.
You have build something that did not exist before, you dared to step into uncharted territorries and explored and developed something all new.
You laughed in the face of Giants like Blizzard and SoE and continued your perilous journey. You fought bravely.
Sadly only those that die in battle are later called heroes.
Nevrax died in a great battle.
You are Heroes!
/bow
/applaud
/farewell
All my best wishes to those who helped making this amazing project called "The Saga of Ryzom" real. All the best on your future ways, wherever they may take you from here.
And I invite Gameforge to pick up the dream and continue to share it with us.
my deepest respect
Acridiel
