Greetings and Salutations

Hello to all! I haven't even finished downloading the game yet, but here I am... introducing myself.
Yes, I'm a nerk. Oy.
I beta'd SoR when it was first released on the internet, but I never did get very far. To begin with, I had issues with the fact that the game kept freezing on me. Then, I guess I was just too used to EQ and WoW, and SoR just seemed so DIFFERENT. I never did understand what I was doing.
But, after about a million years at EQ and somewhere around 60 years with WoW (okay, so not THAT many... I'm only 25 after all. LOL) I'm back to Saga of Ryzom. Why? Because I wanted a change. WoW was too easy - I could level a toon in about a week - and EQ was just too much grinding. I didn't want to sit there and kill critter after critter for only a minimal amount of experience.
So, I'm here to try this out and see how far I can get before my ever-present boredom pops out to annoy me again and move me on to something else. (I'm hoping that Santa will think I've been a good girl this year and will bring me Oblivion.)
