OK, the idea is: A tryker inventer/explorer gets help from the karavan to build a mechanical kipee that is piloted by one homin. The purpose of this construchin is to enable homins to gather information about the kitens by being able to venture deep into the kitten caverns of the prime roots and observe kitten societies covertly.

The mechanical kipee emits smoke from the exaust pipe looking things on its back end .

The problem comes when the machine breaks down deep in the prime roots and a rescue party must be formed to rescue the pilot and the information he has gathered.

So thats the basic idea

I really do but...Kittin are smarter then we think, if remember the invasions, they plan their attacks. I fear the Kittin would sense that this Kipee is davoid of life and think of it as a threat.

What would be it's power source I wonder? I don't think magic would be a good source for something mechanical. Huh a Mechanical Kipee, this is a very intesting idea

With a Tryker's engineering knowledge, a Fryos knowledge of battle and defense, a Zorai's grand planning, and a Matis beauty and understand of nature we could make a Mechanical Kipee that looks very really and has a good defense.

Then all we need is a power source and I'm sure and Kami or the Karavan would know of one...Hmmm yeah I really like this idea, when can we begin =p

well and to "construct" such a "Mechakitin", well the powersource can be magic... if we as homins know ether a Stirling Engine or a Steam Engine, then a simple dagger enchanted with a Firespell and enough Sapcrystals CAN work as a powersource.
The Tryker Shockwavespell may be use directly, depending that the "Shockwave" is a concusive force and not an energy Shock, to hit a piston and drive an Engine, just enchant a dagger and discharge.
Alternativly, as us Zorai are gifted with Electricspells, a Electrostatic Motor(uses DC, which can be build without magnets as opposed to a normal AC electric Motor) could be used, again with a small weapon enchanted, this time with a Electric(Electrostatic?) spell.

so much for driving it, the "Mechakitin" could be build into the exosceleton of a sifficently large Kitin(Kiban, Kipee or Kinrey, maybe Kipucka) and as such would look and smell like a wounded that had contact with Homins(thats why it´s wounded )


so much for the "rationalistion" for a Mechakitin, i find that the very idea for this plot makes my head explode with ideas

there'd probably be more room for a driver inside a kiban exoskeleton, but I really, REALLY want to see exaust coming out of a kipee's exaust pipes

Ohhh I love this idea, Kipees are really cute I would love to see it implemented in a Ring scenario once they are fully accessible.

I see only one problem.....

how do kitins communicate?

until we find this out, it would be very easy to get caught.... but for that, we still need to study them.

when it comes down to it, it all depends on how smart kitins are... but to tell the truth, if it means driving one of these, I'll be the first down there.

wouldnt it be easier to extract theramone from all the aggro kittins and rub our selfs down in them. let the scent of the races and soils be covered by the scents of aggro kittin? all tho the sound of a mechanical kipee sounds wonderful but its the workings of karavan that would cause trouble with it,Dont forget they where the ones that made the kittin give up there work on the goo!
