How hard is it to gain fame? Since I am matis, I was working on getting 33 karavan fame, some players said to me this would open the teleporters. I gained some fame doing missions for the karavan welcomer in majestic garden, but now that I hit 30 fame, it's very hard to gain any fame. Is there a limit? Do I have to find some other karavan to get missions and gain fame?
Oh, and is it really 33 fame to use the teleporters?
I would try to gain Kami fame too, but at -18 fame, guess it's not a good idea.

It takes longer to gain fame as you get higher. Best missions to do are the 'kill bandit' missions. They give most fame, though not alway a full fame point.

You can't afaik gain both positive Kami and karavan fame. Certainly not easily!

I also think it's 30 fame for TPs not 33 but I could be wrong....wouldn't be first time.

30 fame allows you to take a rite to join the Karavan faction proper. See you nearest temple for more info. after that you will be able to buy every karavan tp above ground in lv50, 100, 150 and 200 zones.

lv250 zones need 33 fame
PR needs 60
the 'i love jena' tattoo is available at 100

fame is easy up to about 90 then it starts to slow a little - take the kill bandit missions if you are in a hurry.

and grats for making a normal post amid all the ranting here atm

Bounce around the lands doing the "welcomer" missions as you say, the kill tribe X "very gratefull" missions will progress you ok.

You can if you are neutral, and its not hard really.

not 100% sure on this, but i suspect your earned fame is similar to earned xp... If you are doing missions "too easy" you wont get much reward.

either use skills that still give good xp when you do the missions, or take on quests in higher level regions.

There's just not much point to it beyond the RP value or bragging rights.

Thx for all the answers people, I'll get the kill bandits missions, looks like the best ones. I was mostly doing the kill ragus or kill kipee missions.
Do I have to join a faction to use the tps, or can I keep going neutral?
