For all the nooblets wanting to know about ML

A typical day in the Mainland ..........

You wake up and begin to stretch as you hear the enchanting music of your Homeland's major city .

Your heart begins to fill with pride , as you prepare your Mektoub Packer for a trek out into the lands.
To your favorite harvesting spot of 110 Quality Excellent Abhaya Wood .

You make sure you have all of your 80 QL focus jewlery and your pick on the Meki , and then head off into the beautiful dawning sunrise towards your goal .

Along the way as you look at the mountain range way off in the distance , you spot a magnificent waterfall .

The view becomes so stunning that your in-breath studders a time or two as you take it all in .

After about 20 minutes or so of walking with your Packer close behind , you approach your " Lucky Spot " .

You think to your self , that you are very lucky to find a spot of Excellent mats this close to town .

Being only 1/5 th of the current region away from your Homeland's Major city .

( yes this land might take a few hours to cross from one side to the other , and that is just 1 region ) .

You stop your packer , and begin to switch from your 150 QL Heavy armor , with 50 health on each piece , to your 120 QL Light armor with 40 Focus instead .

After you change your suits you notice that your focus pool has doubled so you will now need to sit a minute and allow for regeneration while taking in the vast magnificent view .

As your sitting there looking over the land , you hear the distince cackling of Torbaks in the distance ....

" Predators !!! " You think to yourself , Your heart begins to race, as you say aloud IRL . "I don't have my heavy on , how will I defend my Mektoub ? " .

Quickly you scramble up from your resting place in the grass , and tell your packer to follow you .

You spin around sharply to get a better look at the on comming danger .

Looming in the distance you see 4 Torbaks heading your way , mercilessly killing every Yber in their way as they make their way closer and closer to you .

Almost in a panic , you look around for the nearest escape from the Torbaks .

As you know they will for surely kill your packer .

Since you opted for the cheap 126K dapper one .

And most likely leave you with a 200K death penalty , that will take you quite a long time to work off .

( yes , packers can be attacked , and be killed by predators .)

You spot an opening in between a group of Ybers that are flying nearby , and begin to run for it ,when you see your Meki's health drop severly low .

Spinning rapidly around to target the attacker , you quickly click taunt to get its attention off the packer and onto you .

Just in time ! your packer has but just a few drops of blood left in its veins and you continue towards your escape route .

Looking back you notice the other 3 Torbaks are busy chowing down on Ybers and only 1 is now following you .

The one that you taunted off the packer .

Running and preying to Jena that the carnivore will not make a quick lunch of your beloved companion mule , you click Speed up 3 , And rapidly make your escape .......

Your heart still pounding in your ears so loud , that you can barely hear that Heavy Metal MP3 you started awhile ago , with the built in MP3 Player .

You notice that your Meki is safely next to you ,calmly grunting and snorting , with just a smidge of his health left ...

But that will regenerate in time .

" Barely a scratch ! " You say to your self , as you head back into town .

You arrive with your hands still trembling a bit .

And your up arrow key smashed all the way down , from having all the weight of a grown man pounding on it while screaming "RUN !!!! TURN TURN ! RUN!!! GO !! "

You calmly sit in front of the stables trying to appear " normal " to everyone around you , and hopeing that no one will notice the half-dead packer you just put up .

Taking a deep breath and reflecting on the previous events .

You know not to be discouraged , since times like this do not happen very often , you just were taken off guard .

You notice a few fellow guildies walking by , and they stop and ask you if you would like to go out on a hunt with them .

" Get knocked off and get right back on " You think to yourself as you quickly tell them " Sure :)

" and re-don your Heavy armor from your mule .

1.The lands are vast , be there no doubt .
2.There are much better items and equipment that can be crafted in ML than the trial . The combinations of different materials are phenominal .
3.The overall experience of the game is Breath taking , to say the very least .

(Disclaimer) [ No Mektoubs were harmed in the making of this experience . Only a few Ybers were Chowed down upon , and those were only film props , And thus were pre-approved by the SPCA . ]

Take care , Be Safe , and keep an eye on the animals in your area . Chances are , If it is eating the herbavores around you .... It will likely come for you next .

I enjoyed your story - substitute a lagoon for the water fall and this would
be my normal day.

Hahah I liked this part. I also have a habit of when someone tells a joke ingame or something funny happens I end up snorting really loudly (i seemed to have developed this habit as a result of trying to stifle outright laughter only problem is over time its gotten louder and louder itself and i think that laughing would be quieter now..). I'm sure anyone who walked by me office when I was messing with this game would likely think I was insane as I am very animatedly talking to my computer and it even appears to answer back at times if you didnt know I was playing a game hehe.
