I havnt played ryzom in 3 months now, i went to reactivate my account and cant,ive read the news but would love to know if i could reactive my account, the thing they need is more money being put in so is there a way to get back paying??

well, to summerize, as you'll read on others threads, legally, Nevrax cant accept money, thus the accounts freezing.

Ryzom will be bought by another company in december.
No new or reactivated paying accounts before the deal.

You could create a noob on the starter island in the meantime for chit-chat.

from what ive gathered everything is on hold till the 5th, what i dont understand is my account is hardly new (over two years old) not being able to re start my account is hardly going to help the situation of lack of money...

Yes, but please understand that it would simply be at the moment illegal for them to allow you to reactivate. *sigh*
They´re not in the position anymore to allow you to reactivate.
In a situation like theirs every assest a Corporation has is simply frozen by law.
It is not allowed to add or substract from these assests any amount of money or whatever. So they are simply forbidden to reactivate.
You´ll sadly have to wait a few days more until the deal is settled with whomever will buy the game and then maybe decide to allow old/new Players to subscribe/reactivate.

It´s the law.

its not a financial matter... its a matter of legality. If the laws are similar to those found here, Nevrax won't really have much of a say in whats happening to the company. To help in that transition from one company to another, the account system was put on hold. Can't have you signing up with a company that may not exist in a few days time.

Still cant reactivate my sub, this is getting really annoying, i thought after the 5th i could?? Is there any offical feedback as to when i will be able to?
