Supreme In Nexus - Cho

I have spent 4 seasons in the nexus now and have yet to see a single supreme node pop on any mat I am digging. I get Exe all the time but never a Sup pop. Am i missing something here? Is there some secret to this place. I read some of Noin's threads in here about season changes and server resets and still no Sup. Any suggestions would be helpfull.

Nexus and PR require patience - not all nodes pop sup in all seasons, thats why keeping records is important :)

As well as season, you also need to check the weather and the time of day. Some supreme spots will only be present in exactly the right conditions.

check your stanza... maybe it's "up to excellent" only ;-)

use sup only prospect and camp one spot for a while, while prospecting in every atys hour (in every 3rl minutes). it should come up sooner or later.

and yes, getting sup is that random in pr.

After posting this yesterday I went back up to the nexus. started pull mats. Got lucky and 2 sources poped supreme. I noted time and weather. Server reset last night. Went back to the nexus. Same time/same conditions no supreme. I noticed this to be true with the Exe also. one day it would pop in fair next in rainy. No reason to it that I can find.

As for taking notes... I have been. Its not following any time/weather rules that I gather from my notes. Season is the only stable factor.

After several hundred levels of harvesting I think I can set up my stanzas correctly. At least I hope so.

So it looks like the best plan is to just camp a source that you know is in season and wait for a pop...

Thanks for The Responses.

Copy pasted from another thread...

Mark type, location, season, and time of day (they'll usually be availalable a range like 02:00 - 06:00). You can try marking weather, but that's a tricky one. There are more types of weather then the map will display. Like: Snowing 1, Snowing 2, Snowing 3, Fair 1, Fair 2, Fair 3, etc. Something might pop on Fair 3 through Snowing 2, if that makes any sense.

Good luck, happy digging!

Thank You. Now I'm getting information thats usable. I was unaware there were diff lvls of weather. This was very helpfull and takes some of the madness out of the equation.

Will start camping at know season/time.

Thank You

yes and no :)

a nice way to dig in pr/nexus is to set up a few trackers for supremes you know are in season and close by, dig grind mat of choice and spam a tracker whenever the hour changes for those on your watch list. useful if the choice is weathered on the sups you want..

this approach has a few holes in it, and a slight spoiler that i feel i should share as newer players will never know otherwise...

[SPOILIER]
think of the weather as a horizonal line
fair1-fair2-fair3-rain1-rain2-rain3-etc-etc

the actual weather value will be somewhere on this scale and either moving up or down or still. when the hour changes (and maybe on the 1/2 hour cant remember now) the value will either stay where it is, or stop or start moving one direction or the other. so it's possible the weather will move from say fair1->fair2 sometime in the hour, or when the hour changes the pointer will start moving. as you can see there are an awful lot of weather values, and from the info on the map its impossible to say supreme oath, winter, fair as fair itself has many values.

one thing i will say that others will tell you is untrue, is that you can guage the state of the weather more accurately by enviromental effects than the text on the map. but i wont be explaining how ;-)
