1) Can anyone in the guild do an invite, or is that reserved to the guild leader/officers? And can the default be changed?
2) How do we gain "guild points" and what do they do?
3) How do we swear the guild to a Race, or Kami/Kharavan?
4) Is there any way to send gear we've crafted to a new member, or do we just have to wait until we have guild housing to send items back and forth (short of handing them over in game)? We currently don't have a guild house, and are working on getting together the cash for a guild apartment.
Those and any other tips you might have for a new guild starting out in the world of Atys would be much appreciated!
Leadership hierarchy:
Leader
High Officer
Officer
- Only officers or above may invite new people to the guild
- Only high officers or above may touch the guild inventory
- I think the leader is the only one who can declare faction alignment for the guild, and a few other perks.
The system in Ryzom is pretty backwards, for a small guild, you may not have any HO spots (or perhaps you get leader+1), but otherwise, officer slots appear to be based on membership, so you can't just make everyone a high officer as you would like.
There's no way for the whole leadership to go on vacation as well.
there's an awful lot to be desired in terms of flexibility in the guild system, it's simple for the to put in this way I guess, but I"d really like to see them update most of teh features of the guild system in Ryzom, it's one of the weakest parts of the game really.
EDIT: the gibbai is faster and more complete as usual
