Hello, all!

Just figured I'd jump in and introduce myself.

8 character account name limits make me sad. I'm nightrunner.

This is my first MMO ever. Well, I've played like an hour of Guild Wars at PAX this year, and played about an hour of WoW on Saturday at a friend's house - and that prompted me to look about for an MMO to try. Found this one, I've dropped about 5 hours on it in less than a day. I'll be upgrading my account as soon as I feel I've got a good handle on the game itself.

I started a Tryker named Kadwallader, getting into harvesting and crafting. I need to work on my combat skillsd, though. It's embarassing that a Sucking Yabo is an even match for me... I also think I need to do a little Harvest questing, get my skillz in that area up.

So, anyways.... this is more fun than I thought it'd be. See you out there.

So far, so good. Except that I'm REALLY tired of gettin' pwnt by the baby critters.

Hoping to complete a few more crafter quests tonight, maybe do some harvester stuff. Haven't been this excited to go home to play a game since Super Mario 3 came out.

whoa a virtual online gaming virgin. You could do worse than to start here. Speaking from experience, you never forget your first. MMO that is. For me that was Everquest, and always has a special place in my heart, even if it is now owned by the Evil Ones.

Yeah, I wondered about that. There's no technical limit for this sort of thing anno 2006.

My advice: do it in moderation, that way you don't hit boredom quickly as well as waste your life solely on games.
However wonderful it is, it is no substitute for the world outside.

Good point, casual Gaming is absolutely OK around here.
And a little practice will help you not getting owned by baby critters anymore

Greetings and Welcome to the Giant Root Ball! (hah beat Sam to it ) As others have stated, take the game in moderation, as with all things there is such thing as too much of a good thing . Nonetheless, Enjoy yourself, and if you have any questions. Dont be afraid to ask around. Most of time you will get honest anwsers (have seen some rather "l33t" chatters on Silan but luckly it stays there generaly).
