Hi all, im pretty new still, its my first week with my paying account and have only just gotten mainland.
I was wondering if there are any good websites dedicated to info on compiled lists on ryzom/missions info and such OTHER than this site. I tried google'ing it and didn't find much. Could anyone post any good links to sites about Ryzom that they use regularly and find useful.
If not a link to some other good threads in would be useful. I just get tired of diggin trough forums for every little thing and was wondering if there was a better place to find help that was more organized.
Other than that...luv the game so far. Seems like many fresh new things goin on in it and hope to be around for awhile. Thx to anyone in advance!

Not much of Info, but something to help hooking your friends on Ryzom *grins and points down* Ryzom Movies.
And whilst using these Info sites, be sure not to spoil yourself the Fun of finding things out by yourself. If everything you do is "look it up, do it, repeat with other Item" it can get boring pretty soon.

Thx all for replying so quickly to my post. Thx for the input acridiel, i agree that it does ruin the experience to just "read your way" through everything, and dont do that very often. But i've also had trouble FINDING missions and such, and while the community in ryzom is amazing and has been very helpful so far. It does lack the "mass" of online resourses of some other RPG's...which i dont necessarily see as a BAD thing if it means less of a headache dealing with people that are as immature as in any other MMORPG, past or present.
The mature community is one of the main draws to me, and thats impossible to maintain if its as large of a financial success as games like WoW have been, you just cant pay as much attention to such as large community with that many subscribers, its more of a quality/quantity relationship with Ryzom. Everything about it is more towards QUALITY...i've just had some trouble google'ing the quality out is all. ; )

Is there anything that talks about game mechanics? Like exactly how certain stanzas affect damage done, or really how ANYTHING works? There should really be a forum topic just for game mechanics discussion IMO.

Not sure if this answers your question or not....
But at
http://ryzomvault.ign.com/ theres a full listing of all skills in the game both magical and physical. It shows all the full ingame stats of each. As far as how they all relate to one another, i guess just add or subtract each different stanza together ingame or with a piece of paper, and then look at the dmg/effect and what it costs. Other than that i'm not too sure myself...but thats what i do anyhow. Good luck to ya.
