Log in/loading problems

Hi!

I've downloaded the trial and have created a character but When I try to log in the character, the loading process stops completely when it's almost finshed. I have tried to log in whit my virus protection off and my firewall disabled, but that didn't help. I've tried logging in a few times over the last 3 days.

I've got 768MB RAM and a xp2000+ and even if my graphics card only got 64MB (geforce4 ti4200) I feel like my computer being a bit old should not be the problem in this case. I remember trying a trial of this game when it was almost brand new and I didn't have a problem back then. I try to log in with the graphics set to a minimum.

I will be grateful for any suggestions. :)

I don't know how long you have waited after "the loading process stops completely", but you might consider giving it another five minutes. Ryzom takes quite a while to load with less than a GiB RAM, and it speeds up considerably with more than one. Other than that, your PC should work well...

Thanks for the advice. I tried waiting even longer, but when 15 minutes had passed I figured it wouldn't help waiting much longer. I seems like the game is loaded behind the loading screen and an icon thats says wait with a computer and a red x. I only saw that because I treied to alt+tab wich opened up a little "window" in the loading screen. The ryzom process seems to take almost all of the cpu, like 95-99%. I've closed down everything possible before starting ryzom. This is a mystery to me.
