When does one cross the spam line?

One of the ways that is suggested to announce a ring scenario is to go into region channels and announce it. I have been very hesitant to do so thus far because I don't want to seem like I am spamming the chat system. So I am looking for input as to what is acceptable and what isn't by community standards.

Is it acceptable to go to 6 different regions and say "The Kami are requesting your presence! The Kitin Secret Sceario will be available in 5 minutes!"

Or how about "I will be uploading my scenario in a few minutes contact me if interested!"

I don't want to be a pain but I also want to let people know when I put my scenario online.

Personally I wouldnt consider 1 message in each region spam. We do similar to announce our pubnights.

......when we hear this in Universal chat...until then You are fine. ;)

edit - announcing ring scenarios in the chat channels is fine and most welcome in my view :)

I would think that a lot of people (including me) would welcome a heads up about a scenario being launched so give shout in region! There aren't many way's to make it known that one is available while ingame and I don't want to hang around the terminal for 30 mins being bored.

HAHAHAHAH xD

I'm with Skeith8 on this one. xD

Also, Raynes...I'd hardly see that as spam. ^^

Region is ok but can only reach people in main towns...

I would be in favor of authorising maybe 2 announcement per scenario on universal channel.

I know it is not the purpose of it but at least would reach more players :) and knowing how rarely scenario are available, that would not even spam univers channel...
