for ruining my game play for the week!!
as a fairly new player i found myself overwhelmed with creatures while trying to earn xp, i died 4 times in a row from the massive spawns, i couldn't travel because of the huge spawns of hostile mob so what did that leave me??
a week of sitting in Fairhaven foraging, Well thanks but no thanks thats not the game i pay for!!!

Perhaps next time an event is proposed a little thought might go to the newer players and make it so that we are not confined to a week of gaming hell.
i have no option other than to log out for the week now as i can achieve nothing ingame, or rather nothing constructive.

BTW i didn't try but can anyone tell me if there are massive spawns of resources popping up?

where are the mobs? there are none in Pyr or Dyron.

Dont give up just yet.

If you want to get XP from mobs (im assuming that you are fighting) try working on non-agro mobs. (if you dont know if its agro or not try asking for help in universe channel ("/u help please!"))

Its not possible to venture very out of the level zone you are in (I.E if you are level 50 Its very unlikly that you will last too long in a level 200 zone) if you want to trek find some people nearby, im sure they will be willing to help you.

This game relies heavily on the community - If you need a hand just ask in regions ("/re help!") or universe ("/u help!") maybe go one step further and look for a guild that has similir interests to you (roleplay, PvP etc) and join them and learn from them.

To locate materials yourself you need the "prospection" action (NOT source tracking)

You've plaid for the month, why not jump in and give it another go. just dont be embarresed to ask for help

I was in Fairhaven today, but didnt see any mob spawns that are not normal there... so I dont think the slaughter week really started yet...

But the cloppers (crabs) are dangerous, so you might try the plants or messab or yubos first...

I am a little confused .... was there an "event" that spawned more than average mobs?

No not yet, that post was made today, and refered to the week just past, seeing as the slaughter week was only just patched (today), the post was talking about the server as it is normally Which is why i was confused lol
