Am I correct in assuming that bowrilfe ammo is suppose to do more damage than regular rifle ammo, but doesn't? Is this a bug or is bowrifle ammo suppose to do the same amount of damage as rifle ammo? Bowrifle ammo takes up more bulk than regular rifle ammo so I am assuming it is suppose to do more damage than regular rifle ammo... just as launcher ammo takes up more bulk than bowrilfe ammo and does more damage than bowrifle ammo. Why would anyone craft bowrifle ammo for their bowrifle when they can craft regular rifle ammo that takes up less bulk and does the same amount of damage? Can someone explain this to me, please? If bowrifle ammo is suppose to do more damage than regular rifle ammo, when will this be fixed please? Is this just a bug that hasn't been fixed yet? Thank you for your thoughts on this in advance

dunno, but you can use rifle ammo in your bowrifle

but you dont' get the bow rifle crafting xp if you make it yourself.

it does seem a bit odd to me too ami. but then i'm no ranged fighter (lvl 21 whoot \o/)

was the bowrifle ammo made from the same materials -including grade and quality, as the rifle ammo ?

I havent played with it for a while, but my memory of it was bowrifle ammo did do more damage

Rifle and bow rifle ammo does the same damage, as does Pistol and Bow Pistol ammo. It is that way since I started doing ranged combat. Since the ammo types are interchangeable, you can use the not bow weapon ammo types.

If you need a lot of ammo for less mats, go for normal ammo. If you need xp go for the bow ammo. As far as I remember, you craft a clip of 20 shots bow rifle ammo from 6 mats, and a clip of 40 rounds rifle ammo from 4 mats. I craft bow rifle ammo normally, because I need to keep the crafting skill at level with my ranged skill.

Rifle and bowrifle craft are the same thing.


Trini has it right. Only use for bow ammo is to get more XP per click while crafting. If you just want the most damage/shots per mat use regular rifle/pistol.
