Ryzom News Email Updates

Since they changed the front page of the website to that flash animation, I find myself going directly to the forums. This means I don't check the news page like I should.

To make things easier I'd like to suggest Nevrax start an email list and email any news items to players email.

The news page does have an RSS feed, so I'm using that. If you have an RSS reader, use this link:

http://www.ryzom.com/news/feed.rdf?set_language=en

(I didn't vote since I don't need the email blast, but it wouldn't hurt anything if they created one. Just wanted to share a method of doing what you want that already exists)

Dont they already do this? I signed up for the e-mail on an option on the website, and I now get e-mail alerts when there is new news :)

I also set my ryzom link to the news page rather than the homepage flash animation.

I think thats the one we use on our guild site, I find it easier to browse from there and go directly here to the forums.

I only voted no because I know it will take resources away from the stuff that really needs to get fixed.

Resources can be RL dappers not just people. Enough talk about fixing stuff and time to start fixing stuff.

The website person/people probably can't program game fixes. Moot point.

I signed up on the website for email updates, and each time a new story is posted, or they schedule downtime, I get an email.
