Installation

I have downloaded the trial version from the link provided on your site. I then proceed to run the installation (as per your trial set up instructions) and it just sits there. It is running in my processes, but nothing is happening.. other than bogging down the PC.
Any suggestions?

Is your anti virus software running?

I am having the same problem. To be more specific, the installation gets stuck at 66% every time. The installer says it is "Removing applications" when it does this. Uh what the heck is it removing in the installation? There was no prior install. Yes I've turned off AV, I have enough disk space, and I have the ports forwarded.
So far this trial isn't looking very promising...

Yeah, I'm having the same problem.. When I go to decompress or extract the file, it gets to about 30% and then it just freezes (It only gets to Data 1). This game used to be very user friendly back when I was beta testing it... what happened?

Make sure that you have enough space on the drive that holds your temporary files folder. This will either be c:\windows\temp or in your documents and settings folder.
And a good idea is to disable your antivrus while installing and patching.

I get an error message when extracting saying
Write error in the file Data11.cab. Probably the disk is full
I have no anti virus running and more than enough space for it. could anyone explain what this means?

It means your HD is full. Until you make some room, you will nopt able to install it.

If you have multiple partitions/disks then you will get this message if your system disk is full due to lack of space for temporary files.
