The Ryzom Ring Launched!
The time has arrived. The most powerful content creation system yet seen in an MMORPG has finally been unleashed. Players of Ryzom can now add their own content to the world of Atys using this simple but hugely effective toolset where the only real limits are you imagination. Players have already set up many scenarios, bringing an extra dimension to Ryzom, and adding another unique layer to the rich and compelling story. Meanwhile the events team are utilising this new system to bring fresh action packed events to the game while developers Nevrax work on adding more in-game content to the existing world. Kitins’ Lair Exposed
Following hot on the heels of the Ring release comes news of a new high level content area; The Kitins’ Lair. Weighing in at roughly the same size as a mainland region, this underground area will see new challenges, huge battles, hordes of creatures and some pleasant surprises for anyone brave enough to travel there. Ruins of Silan
Nevrax have recently added a new starter area to Ryzom, called Ruins of Silan. This new area features dozens of new quests that serve as the perfect tutorial and introduction to the ways of this deep and compelling world. Any new character made will now start here. With a new trial account, players can spend as much time as they like exploring the Ruins of Silan as there are no time restrictions here. On signing up for a full account and paying the first month’s subscription, they can travel to Atys mainland and experience the full force of Ryzom and the Ryzom Ring.
New World Goes Live
With the influx of players attracted by the free trial and the Ruins of Silan, Nevrax have added Cho, a new shard, to the existing shards Arispotle, Aniro and Leanon. This new shard is an International English language shard. Cho receives full 24/7 support from the CSR crew and as the world and community there evolves will also receive some TLC from the events crew. It’s the latest in a line of advances in the ever expanding and evolving story of Atys.
