Ring points exchangable for loot?

This was in an interview, yet I have heard nothing about this. Does anyone have an explaination?
Daniel Miller, Nevrax: The system that we have implemented is based on the concept of active time. The idea is that it doesnt matter how active youve been or what youve been up to as long as we can determine that you have done something in any given time period, we can give you credit for it. As a result, as you play in a Ring adventure you accumulate points that can be traded in for loot. The loot is currently randomly generated and is principally made up of progression accelerators that can be used in the Ryzom mainland in order to double ones progression.

Other ring news:
The features range in size and complexity from entire game systems such as an adaptation of the foraging system that we are working on integrating through to small additions to existing systems such as the addition of a text broadcast chiseled into the event system to allow one to easily broadcast a chat message for the players whenever something important happens in the adventure. The list goes on and on.
The most interesting features in the short term lineup are probably the ones relating to best time and high score systems. These allow one to create challenge scenarios with best times and high scores available on the Ryzom web site. These features will open up yet another way of playing with the Ring!"
