Ryzom

One thing I always bemoaned about Ryzom.....I could never start it again....

I went to Cho last night and it gave me such a memory rush.

I now remember the first time I went through the Gates of Pyr with their roaring fires and armed guards patrolling in groups around them, it really felt like a nation at war.

I remember the first time I was in Fourways with Jyudas and Kostika and saw my first huge kipee, I was in absolute awe!

I spent alot of time, just me and the sword, there in Fourways, sitting down to regenerate HP and Stamina watching the Goarai picking fights with the herbivores and generally behaving like thugs, just soaking the whole atmosphere up.

I remember me and a friend Pippa killed three gingos and we felt like gods!

I remember the first time I soloed a goari, I was so chuffed!

I remember spending 5 days trying to solo to Matis, Max DP is like God Mode.

I joined a group going through led by Miklaw and we had such a blast .... actually killing these terrifying beasties Then arriving in Matis and it was SNOWING!!!! It was so beautiful.

I remember forming groups to fight through to Thesos.

I remember the first time I got to Dyron, such a scary trip and on arrival jumping into the lake for a swim to cool down.

I remember forming our first proper groups in Thesos, everyone new all just starting to get to know each other, the banter, the panic...NEED MORE STAM PLZ!!!!!!!

Just loads of these things came back to me and then it occured to me that, I have left here and played so many other MMO's trying to find something to replace Ryzom, to no avail and now Neverax have given me the perfect game ....... the chance to start Ryzom all over again.

heh that post made me remember the first time I saw the named kiban on the way to dyron, i presumed it was aggro and ran back toward the oasis

I remember the first tryker to matis trip, back in december -04, that was just great
And then the matis to fyros trip, that was even better, though it wasn't the same experience, a lot bigger group

Even before I was strong enough to pass the baying dogs and Border Blights into Fleeting Garden, I remember logging in one night to find enormous kinchers and kipuckas sauntering through Davae, no town guards in sight. The air was blue with people screaming on Region. The atmosphere was electric even without the kincher rearing up in front of me

I remember my first varinxhunt in Dyron with lockheart, twitches, simona and
some other dudes
it was awesome and scary

And i still miss the KPs in PR, please bring them back
