Please give us a ring announcement channel!!!!

We can't use universe to tell people we have a scenario up and running.
Region and around don't really do much to tell people on the entire server that a scenario is up and ready to be played.
So how do we let people know in game?

So I beg of you, plead with you, give us an ingame way to annouce our scenarios!

/signed it seems that this would be better than having players checking the list of available scenarios.

Should the request be extended to "bazaar" and "unpoliced universe"?

love the idea of being able to see when something is about to start, especially if the story in the scenario advances it's useless to get in there 5 minutes after it started.

quick thought

rather than a channel how about binding the Ring window from the terminals to a key so we can look at it where ever we are? (or at least the descriptive parts of it)

It seems that such a feature would be relatively easy to add, and would only enhance the offering of R². Since it appears R² is intended to be a major attraction to Ryzom... this would classify as an important addition in my frame of mind. ;)

My thinking with the channel was that it would allow people to annouce their scenario opening. Lets say I created a scenario where the Kitin had attacked a village. With a chat channel you could say:

"The village of vi-nik is about to be attacked by Kitin! We need warriors to help us! Go to the ring terminal in your capital to help fight them off!"

I don't see why both shouldn't be added to the game personally.

Not a big fan of R2, but this idea makes alot of sense for guys like me that may not go to the terminal but like to know whats going on.
