ive got 456 choice desert fiber and i cannot use it. id like to swap it for any other basic/fine or choice jungle/lake /Pr fiber of the same quality. if its fine or basic you will gain extra exp in craft so its worth doing

I'm afraid that's not true craft xp does not depend on mat grade. You do get more dappers when selling the crafted items to NPCs.

Are you sure? I would bet that u get more xp for craft choice item than fine...

The only things that matter in crafting are: the level you are in crafting, the level of the item you are trying to make, the level of the item you end up with, and the number of mats used.

300xp per mat is the highest you can get for over-crafting (without cats).

ok my mistake then. i thought it would be a little higher exp like when you dig choice compared to digging fine etc

You do get more xp when forraging a higher grade mat... but not sure about crafting.

Yeh for foraging you get more xp for higher grade. Crafting, does not give more xp for higher grade results. Nor does adding say stamina or HP boosts (as examples), give extra xp.

As others have said, the QL your trying to craft to, the resulting QL, and the # of mats used are the only things that affect how much xp you get from crafting, up to a maximum of 300xp/mat in the craft.
