Seasonal Question (Time passage related)

I've read the days/months and time passage threads, but I have a really quick question: When did 2535 officially start? And does anyone know offhand which cycle (1-4) of that year we are on right now? I know it is summer (autumn should hit this weekend I believe).
*working on some character detailing*
Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I believe 2535 started on September 22nd (perhaps on the 21st).
It is now Cycle 1, day Tria of the month of Medis. Here is a link to Blaah's synched calender which tells you the Atysian (Arispotlean) time as accurately as anyone has done.

All I know is:
If we count the launch date, 16 september 2004, as the start of the year 2525 on Atys, and we assume that the server has been running continuously since then, then we are now in the summer of the second cycle of the year 2535.
But how far we are actually behind on that because of server downtime would be anyone's guess. According to Blaah's calendar, we are behind about one cycle, and it's actually the summer of the first cycle of the year 2535.
I tend to agree that's a fair assumption, but we really have no way to be sure. It might just as well be the summer of the fourth cycle of the year 2534, or even earlier.

Eee! Thank you! That's the link I was hoping existed. And a hearty thanks to Blaah!

He resynches his clock using Arispotle's serverTicks from the game logfiles to account for downtime and resets. Remember that you have to include delays like the 5 day patch.

Ah, but has he been doing that since 16 september 2004? If memory serves me, his calendar is only about a year old.
If we're behind one cycle, that would mean the server has been down for a total of 18 days in the two years since Ryzom's release. But do we know if the Ryzom clock kept ticking during those downtimes or not? Or if the devs have modified that clock sometimes for whatever reason?
I don't mean to discredit Blaah's calendar. I'm personally convinced he's got it right and I'm glad we have a calendar, since it's still lacking from the game.
I just mean that we can't be 100% sure, and that the devs might have other ideas of what date it is on Atys. I don't know if they have their own calendar that they refuse to share with us, or if they haven't kept track either and use Blaah's calendar as well.

Apparently, Atys time stops during downtimes, there is a long and interesting thread on french forums about this with related software and tools, syncing from the server.

Would you happen to have a pointer to the thread? I think I could figure out what's in it, but am at an utter loss at finding a thread written in french...

The devs have given us several fixed points, for instance, the Great Revelation of Tryton on June 4, 2005 was in J.Y. 2528 and outposts began December 19, 2005 in J.Y. 2531. If you agree that Blaah's calendar can only be off by full Atysian cycles, I think that just those 2 dates constrain the calendar to be no more than 1 or 2 cycles slow and it cannot be fast. Lady Ailan's election, May 28, 2006 in 2533 is another fixed point but it doesn't constrain the match any more.
P.S. The calendar could only be off by full cycles if the dates were offset corrected at the beginning of each season, month etc. I'm not sure if that occurs though.
