Has anyone else pressed the ">" button on the lower-left corner of the character creation screen?

The...animation...for the Zoraï confirms something implied by this image: masks have facial expression.

*begs for the ability to trigger facial expressions, parts of those animations, and certain idle animations*

I quite like the character creation animations.. I would like to see them accessible within the actual game somehow

the character selection screen uses a method for animating faces that, accoring to nevrax, can't be implemented ingame

2) Is there a particular reason why the face animations have not yet been implemented? Because technically they're already implemented I think - You can see them during the character creation process and they look beautiful too! [Submitted by acridiel (DE)]

The animation system is able to handle them, but the game is not. A very specific code has been used for the facial animations from the character creation interface, which cannot be used for the game itself. Coding would be needed in order to enable them in game.

No.
It's crazy talk that it can't be done.
Its even said there that it can be.
Not a priority but it seems... odd to have it on the preview screen only.

Oh my apologies then, the way you quoted Xeno's words and the lack of explanation and further elaboration can be misunderstood since, unaware of the meaning I found "A useful all-around phrase when the person you're talking to just doesn't make sense. Or else needs to be shut up with a more polite phrase than 'mind your own business'", I did not see you were referring to Nevrax communication. Edited my post.

If you play about with your camera you can SEE the facial articulation in the models so it can be done. Maybe it would just cause too much strain on the client side to have the extra animations going off or something.
