I have been playing for about four hours today, three hours after the patch that was applied around noon and the last hour after the short reboot around 5 pm (CET).
Not exaggerating much if I say that I have suffered from no rubberbanding or other lag related problems (such as the "please wait..." icon) at all during those hours (one or two cases of slight warping, but nothing that could not be explained as ordinary for online games).

This is the first time since the 28th that I have not been warping all over the place pretty much constantly, so I am praying the problems are finally over.

Of course by saying this I have probably jinxed the server and when I log back in later I am back in Warpville :) .

I only lag for about 3 seconds after I zone to a new area, but once again thats nothing new for any game I've ever played. So I think its safe to say the lag is fixed and everything is running nice and smoothly :)

If there was lag yesterday, I was within an acceptable, unnoticeable amount.

So a YES from me!

I notice no more "heavy lag" .

I notice also that the ping (shortcut key N) is about 100ms - 200ms lower than before.

I notice that friend of mine who got "less powerful graphic board" and only 512MB ram still have lag (we can see the hdd led -swap?- on often)
They also use a software firewall. I use another computer as firewall, then map NAT to my own, so I don't need firewall (it saves more cpu for the game)

I get lag when coming in cities, but no "FS lost", so it's my computer who generate it. My graphic board is not really new :D

Server-side lag seems seriously reduced. I see only hardware/software client issues now.

It does seem a bit better, not sure if I'd say it's gone completely. It's better than it was a couple of days ago, but not as good as at release, although that may be due to the fact there are more people playing now.

Still a bit of rubberbanding after the patch. Not as much as previously, but still noticeable.

Still get 'please wait' every 10 or 20 seconds, but I've been getting that since open beta 1 so I don't really notice it any more.
