I understand that honor points for Civilizations haven't been activated for any use, however...

Voted No, would like there to be far more significance to Civ than the current Bi-polar situation the mechanics support but dont necessarilly think "Honour" points for civ missions would be the way to go.
"Honour" points in there current implimentation seem to have limited relevence to PvP situations and would require a rework and and different mindset to be applied to missions which is what we have Fame for.

Voted yes because reworking it to make PvP only one way to get em would be really great

Good Point Zahan, if it would give Homins who dont wish to PvP access to "Honour" point rewards thats not a bad thing.
*moves position to sit on the fence*

Oh I think i get it... Crythos relates Honor points to a PvP mentality... and doesn't want PvP to become a Civilization type issue?

Basically dont like the idea Saoirse of killing Homin for Points, or (from another thread) a league table, a homin life isnt like a football score, I have nothing against PvP.
Civ PvP bring it on, Tryker and proud, with a valid scenario or reason will fly a Tryker tag and knock Matis tagged players down till I run out of ammo
I dont however think thats what the OP meant though and from Zahans point have moderated my initial thoughts on mission related "Honour" points.
I would really like more to be made of the Civ aspect in general whether that is missions, lore, events(PvP or RP), encyclopedia the whole 9 yards just abit skeptical when it comes to being related to "Honour" points.

......
one reason I stay as a faction neutral, is I dont think its right for Homins to kill Homins on the whim of some other species - you are no better than trained attack dogs
Homins should only be killing each other for their OWN purposes, and while personally I think there is more long-term value in a diplomatic playstyle, I can happily participate in PvP for short-term, superficial goals
greed, yes - religious extremism, no

I like this idea
Having honor points from missions and shopping those picks again

This would also give access to xp crystals what is good to people who havent been able to get those.

Well they'd be better then a non house trained attack dog
and greed extremism is just as destructive as any religious extremism. It's just a different set of 'blinders' that people use to justify their actions.
