Q regarding weapon mat stats

In some materials used for crafting weapons, there are stats for 'enemy dodge/parry modifier'. Does a bigger value mean the enemy has a harder or easier time avoiding your attacks?

Following This query, Does any one know if the Bonus Stats Ie. Damage (for Ranged), Dodge skill Modifier (armour) etc. Are actually working, I seem to be making lots of items and the craft window shows 80% + but then on the crafted item 0.

Would be very handy to know.

Hi!

According to my personal experiences, all of the currently hidden stats actually do work, still influenced by the specific mobs level and/or resistances or boni. I can't speak about this also being true for ranged weapons, since I neither craft nor use them...
It's a pity, though, they're not shown atm. That'd make a good crafter's and harvester's work a lot more valueable...atm it's a matter of trust with my customers that I actually did take the appropriate mats... :)

The dodge and parry stats do NOT affect you until Q50...from my experience.

I also know that ammo...at release was Upside DOWN...meaning...you could use CHOICE Q20 mats and make a bullet that honestly shouldn't leave the barrel and a gun that should blow up in your hands. BUT you could quarter JUNK with stats that said the bullet wouldn't hit hard or go far and end up with Q16 ammo with damage of 75 and a FULL clip from ONE try, and a gun that shined and hit like an elephant tossed with a catapult.

I have heard this error was patched out...and SCREAMED about as a nerf *shrug*
