Tryker looking for a home

Hey,

I've started playing Ryzom only 2 weeks ago, but i'm in love with it allready.
The atmosphere, the people, the scenery, the creatures (I have a Yubo hugging session every day, thier so damn cute). And i've only seen the lakelands yet.

Rather then making this a "here is what i have to offer" post, i'm gonna go list what i'm searching for in a guild:

- Active in European TZ (I'm in GMT + 2, Apparently thats BST +1)
- Family and Friends type of guild (can spend as much time chatting to eatchother as you spend hunting)
- I don't really care if your main activitys are crafting and harvesting, as long as you have fun doing it.
- Also don't care if your Kami or Karavan, If the perfect guild for me happends to be Kami aligned, i'll get over it ;)
- Some people in or around the 50 - 100 skill lvl's would be cool.

What do i "offer" :

- 22yr old male from Holland
- 3 years of previous (Roleplaying) experience in EVE-Online, played with a very close group of friends too.
- I'm mature and Intelligent and really all about team play (i can have as much fun aiding someone (for ex healing/care) then doing it myself.

Please leave a message here if you think i would fit in your guild.

See You on Atys

How much roleplaying would you want in a guild?

Ideally i'd just want little to none RP in guildchat / voicecomms.
Unless ofcourse there is a (either guild organized or not) event or activity, then i'm verry happy to dive into RP mode.
But i wanna be able to be myself too, so constant roleplay wouldn't be something for me.

Hi and welcome to Atys.

Take your time, look at the sites of many Guilds, there are many worthy ones, but a freindly Tryker with an open mind is welcome to chat to Evolution at any time ;)

First of all, welcome to our giant rootball, Atys!

Secondly, we are harvesters and crafters primarily, who hunt and mage to hone our skills for more harvesting and crafting, since the best materials are often found in the most dangerous places. We also have members who focus on melee and magic to hone their skills for the protection of the guild and its members.

We have different levels of members and forming teams within the guild or out is primarily member driven based on experience desired and timezones of members or others available so that the appropriate levels are matched up. Our timezones are primarily American, but we have members from around the world, so someone is usually always on. We tend to recruit one or two new members at a time so that all can adjust to different playstyles and personalities within the guild. We have a teamspeak server, but participation is left up to the preference of the invividual members.

We are roleplayers within the context included in my signature below which means we roleplay our collective belief in Jena but don't require "in character" roleplay, in or out of guild. We don't require members to participate in PvP, but our stance requires that we participate in either smacking down or being smacked down by kamisits forces (ic) when necessary.

We are Tryker based, Tryker civilization aligned and Karavan faction aligned. Neutral citizens and neutral faction alignment can join us at anytime. Neutral citizenship/Karavan-faction aligned can be members of our guild as well. Non-Tryker citizenship/non-Karavan aligned cannot be chosen here, plain and simple.

We don't do cold invites since we feel, as a lot of Atys guilds do, that each player needs time and research to make the most effective choice and decision about guilds as possible for enjoyable game play. Who you play with on a daily basis is just as important as how you play daily, so check all the guilds out to make sure the needs described in your post above will be met to the majority of your satisification.

Wherever you land, as there are many great guilds here (look at guild list too) to choose from, both large and small, welcome to Atys, and may your stay be as enjoyable and as long as mine has been. And your in-game would be helpful as well.

Hiya!

Crythos already mentioned us (Evolution), but because you love yuboo hugging, I thought it might be wise to mention that the founder of the YLF is part of us. (although is hardly online nowadays)

Might be usefull to know we are euro based, although we got some US members as well. Quite some Evo members know how to handle some crafting tool pretty well, which doesnt mean they cut themselves with a sword tho...

Oh and dutch people get special treatment ofcourse ;)

edit: its amazing how the human mind can make up 1000 things while you are typing, so all logic to a the post is lost...
(or is that just my mind?)

Curse thee, Iverem :p , Giant RootBall is mine  .

Anyways, Welcome young Tryker. The Dragons of Shadow are a neutral Guild. We do a variety of Things, hunting, foraging, craftng, treks, ect, most of the members have Several Skills around that Level range you mentioned. Our Guild chat is very much OOC atm. Around Is IC, and Team fluctuates ;) . We are about Half and half US/UK timezones, and we have one who is GMT+8, who never seems to log ;) .

And we do try to help eachother when ever we can. Anyways, if you have any further questions you can ask me, Danyl, Tasai, Yarnbaul, Meester, or Pelian, We are on fairly frequently.

Thank you all for the warm welcome and the time you took to describe your guild here. Like someone said, i'm gonna take some time to make up my mind and think about what guild would suit me best.
